Martin Dosh: Pure Trash

Though Dosh has been sharing the stage recently with Andrew Bird, he also performs wonderfully well alone. His solo performances are always a treat, and to watch him work up close (as I got a chance to do recently at a gallery opening), is fantastic. He completely ignores the crowd and simply experiments with his various instruments, throwing (sometimes literally) sounds together which you hear a moment later, integrated seamlessly. This isn't music to hum along with. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Minneapolis's own Martin Dosh.
