It's FINALLY here. Sorry for the delay, it is well worth it.
This is the sideproject of Erlend Oye, of Kings of Convenience fame. The band is comprised of Erlend and 2 of his friends. It was concieved in the same way The Postal Service came to be; where Erlend and his friends were commisioned to write a song for a compilation (Jimmy Tamborello and Ben Gibbard made a track for DNTEL, called This is the Dream of Evan and Chan, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR FANS).
Well, The Whitest Boy Alive liked what they heard and decided to record and album. It is similar in tone to Kings of Convenience, but is has a more upbeat, dance tune to it.
Despite the succes of Whitest..., Erlend promises another go around for Kings in the near future.
Dreams is a complex album, that goes from airy pop, to harmonizing twee, to techno sugar pop.
