The first word that comes to mind when I think about Great Lake Swimers is mellow, also maybe haunting. Definitely for fans of Andrew Bird, Badly Drawn Boy, My Morning Jacket, Wilco.
Based out of Toronto, this indie-folk, roots music and alt country pop outfit (straight from their website), sings amazing tunes with lyrics to boot.
No specific tracks to check out, just give it a listen.

Great mellow album really getting into it. Reminds me of Nick Drake. Didn't someone post one of their other albums?
I posted the first 2 albums before the days of this blog. I like this album a lot. I fell asleep to it on a plane ride to Arizona last week. Thanks.
